Hollywood, FL – Earlier today, Nova Southeastern University law professor Tim Canova agreed to two one-hour debates against scandal plagued Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Jim Defede’s Sunday morning 8:00am talk show, Facing South Florida on WFOR CBS 4 and Michael Putney’s This Week in South Florida which airs on WPLFG Channel 10.
Tim Canova stated that, "After four months of dodging debates and running scared, Wasserman Schultz has finally agreed to debates. We we were hoping for at least three 2-hour debates, but for the time being, this will have to suffice.”
Canova added, “Initially, Wasserman Schultz agreed only to one 15-minute debate. The people of South Florida deserve better than a representative showing up for 15 minutes to defend her record. Perhaps two one-hour debates will provide enough information for people to understand Wasserman Schultz’s paltry record.”
